The Archer Project: How social entrepreneurship offers the ultimate reward (Terry Murphy)

We are delighted to be joined by Terry Murphy, CEO of Sheffield Social Enterprise Network, who has a wealth of senior leadership experience across the charity, social enterprise, hospitality and event sectors.

As the Network Manager for the SSEN, Terry champions the sector, driving growth through initiatives like the Social Enterprise Growth Accelerator (SEGA) programme.

Also serving as Managing Director of the Archer Project Enterprises (APE), an innovative group of social enterprises that provide supported employment and development for the homeless, Terry has a proven track record of building successful ventures that put people first.

Created through APE, “Printed By us” was voted the Homelessness sector’s national Social Enterprise of the Year at the Homeless Link Excellence awards in 2019,  and offers a ethical custom printing service to organisations throughout the UK.

Join us to discover how leveraging social enterprise can turn your business ambition into a deeply fulfilling, impactful career.

Following Terry Murphy’s talk on the 28th, we’re going to run an interactive 1 hour workshop (1pm-2pm).
We’ll be brainstorming and identifying societal and sustainable issues that people feel strongly about, and look at why they exist and what could be done to help tackle these challenges.
Both Enactus Sheffield and 180 Degrees Sheffield Consulting teams will be taking part in the workshop.
