Explaining your Visa Status to Employers

Most employers have only heard of a limited number of work visas – mainly those they have come into contact with. To increase UK work opportunities for yourself it is important that you become the expert on work and study visas you are eligible for and understand how to explain these to potential employers. Recent changes to the Skilled worker visa and the review of the Graduate Route visa might have had a negative impact on some employers – thinking it is “too complicated” or “expensive” to recruit international students and graduates.
