Business Founder Pathway
November 5 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

The Founder Pathway is an exclusive, intensive extra-curricular programme designed to transform you from an aspiring student into an action-oriented entrepreneur.
This isn’t just about winning an award for a great idea; it’s about giving you the skills, mindset, and confidence to build a real, successful business.
We’ll equip you with the practical knowledge and entrepreneurial attributes you need to succeed, all while working alongside a select group of motivated peers.
Learn from successful CEO’s in our Start-up Studio.
What’s the commitment?
Participants must be available for at least two full days of training, plus an external visit.
You must also commit to working on a founder development plan throughout the course, which will be presented at the final session.

What You’ll Get From the Pathway
- Hands-On, Practical Learning: This isn’t a lecture hall. You’ll engage in “learning by doing,” with a focus on real-world problem-solving and critical thinking. You’ll be challenged with weekly tasks that mirror the early stages of a Start-up, allowing you to test your skills and capabilities.
- A Personalised Founder Development Plan: You’ll create a clear, actionable plan to guide your next steps. This personalised roadmap will help you move your ideas forward long after the programme is over.
- Exclusive Cohort & Peer-to-Peer Support: You’ll be part of a small, highly motivated group of up to 10 students. This cohort structure fosters a strong support system, healthy competition, and the potential to form new teams.
- Access to the Sheffield Business Ecosystem: You’ll be connected to the wider business community through networking events, founder meet-ups, and a site visit to Sheffield Tech Parks to see how Start-ups operate in the real world.
- Onward Mentorship: If you actively begin developing a new venture, you’ll have the potential to receive ongoing mentorship to help you launch your business.
